Introduction
Voynex WMS Commander is a set of tools to manage WMS and its publishing points.
Voynex WMS Commander has two components: command line utility and CGI script.
Commands can be entered using Windows command line interface or in the address
bar of the internet browser using HTTP GET request syntax.
Depending on the tool used commands can be executed locally or remotely
via DCOM / RPC or HTTP / HTTPS.
Command line utility
Command line utility is a Windows console application designed to control WMS
publishing points from command line.
The software runs in the Windows environment. It is passed a set of
arguments representing action and parameters. Commands are executed locally
or passed for execution to the remote server using DCOM / RPC.
Application Usage Samples
Start publishing point "ch1":
wmscmd.exe -action start -pp ch1
Record stream from publishing point "ch1" to file "d:\sample.wmv":
wmscmd.exe -action record -pp ch1 -file d:\sample.wmv
As an example, this command line utility can be executed using ColdFusion and
CFEXECUTE which is running on the same server.
CGI script
The CGI script (ASP.NET) makes it possible to manage WMS publishing points
remotely via HTTP(S). The script performs actions based on CGI variables
submitted via an http(s) GET request.
Script Usage Samples

Record stream from publishing point "ch1" to file "d:\sample.wmv":
